Edge Emitting Laser(EEL) - SMD Type
Edge-emitting laser (hereinafter referred to as EEL) refers to a laser light source that emits light from the side of the chip.
This is different from the vertical cavity surface emitting laser (VCSEL) which emits light from the front.
Due to the limitation of edge light emission, traditional EEL packaging components are mostly three-pin TO type packaging.
VCSEL is a surface mount device (hereinafter referred to as SMD).
Our company combines micro-mirror technology with LED packaging technology.
We have changed the traditional EEL TO package to create a new SMD EEL package component that is only 1/10 of the original height.
This product can meet the light, thin, short and small characteristics required by customers in product design.
